This module explores key aspects of Human–Computer Interaction in order to understand how to design usable interactive systems. The position taken is that the design of usable systems requires both an understanding of the work context, needs and characteristics of potential users, and attention to details of user-interface design. In addition, specialist topics, such as support systems and frameworks for HCI, are examined.
