ECDL and ECDL Accelerated Training

If you are new to computers or if you require basic to intermediate computer training, we highly recommend the ECDL. The (ECDL) European Computer Driving Licence® is a highly recognised European-wide qualification which enables people to demonstrate their competence in computer skills. TotalCy.Com Computer Training Centre is accredited from the CCS (Cyprus Computer Society) and is an ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) Authorized Testing Centre. All trainers are ECDL Certified Trainer Professionals.

The ECDL certificate can be completed between one and three years. Courses are available for candidates over the age of nine

What is ECDL?

The ECDL - EUROPEAN COMPUTER DRIVING LICENCE - is an internationally-recognized standard of competence, a widely acceptable certificate that asserts that the holder has the knowledge and skills needed to use the most common computer applications efficiently and productively in the workplace and at home.

The ECDL has been adopted by major Cyprus Organizations as a criterion for benchmarking IT skills of first-entry employees. ECDL Cyprus is also approaching organizations explaining the benefits of ECDL Endorsement. Contacts and discussions have been made with most of the Semi-government Organizations, the Department of Public Administration and Personnel of the Government, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Finance.

To gain the ECDL - EUROPEAN COMPUTER DRIVING LICENCE - the candidate must pass one theoretical and six practical tests, which are administered throughout Europe by authorised Test Centres. Tests are based on the - EUROPEAN COMPUTER DRIVING LICENCE Syllabus.
